When you are up to play a casino game, the duty to shuffle the cards is done by the dealer available there and the player involved in the game can only advise the dealer regarding the techniques of shuffling the card in any particular way that sometimes, seems to him as a perfectly shuffling the deck in a random manner. However, to cut card in the game is also one of the most important act performed by the player during the shuffling process.

The cut card procedure always has an important place in the game as it is regarded as one of the best means to reduce the chances of cheating as well as manipulation of the cards done for the benefit of any player. In the real casino gaming, the cut procedure is implemented specially to prove that the dealer involved with the shuffling process is actually an innocent person who does not have anything to do with the cards changes. Even, many players believe that cut card in the game could be a lucky step to be followed during the beginning of the game that will make them fortunate to win..

If we talk about the procedure to cut cards, the process is handled between the dealer and a player. As the dealer completes shuffling, the deck is placed down by him on the gambling table in front of a player. However, it generally involves the player sitting just right side of the dealer. Then, a part of the cards is removed by a player from the deck along with putting them before the dealer and himself so that the dealer can deal with those cards which are closer to him for the distribution to the players. Taking an approximate of half of the deck in to the hand might be the strongest way to cut cards followed with placing them on the table. Usually, the cut card process finishes with placing the remaining part of the card's deck that is at the bottom, to the top of the cards that have been cut earlier. Then the deck is gathered by the dealer along with squaring and straightening the deck further followed with distributing the cards to the players.

A special method to cut card has been developed during the World War II by John Scarne in order to protect the players from the cheating practices by the dealer. According to the method suggested, the middle part of the deck was pulled out by the player after the shuffling of the deck with placing it back to the top of the remaining cards in the deck. The regular procedure is performed after this process. The multiple cut methods is also followed in the card games and in this form of cutting cards, a range of cuts from top to bottom is performed by the player that is generally similar to the single cut. A false cut also comprises a significant aspect in the card gaming after shuffling. However, this form of cut car is associated with purposely cheating in the game.
