Caribbean Stud Poker is a 5-card poker game played with 52 cards, where you play a gainst the Dealer. You place an Ante (initial bet), receive a hand, and decide whether you would like to bet against the Dealer hand. One of the Dealer's cards is dealt face up so your decision will have to be made on the card showing and the strength of your 5-card poker hand. At this point, you may believe that you cant beat the Dealer and you can simply fold. If you fold, you forfeit your Ante. To bet against the Dealer, you must double your Ante. To win, you must not only beat the Dealer's hand but the Dealer must also "qualify. "The Dealer qualifies by getting any hand containing an Ace and a King or better (e.g. Pairs, etc). If the Dealer does not qualify, you are paid 1 to 1 on your Ante and your "Raise" is returned to you as a push. If your hand beats the Dealer's hand and the Dealer qualifies, you're paid on the Ante and your Raise. The payoff of the Ante is 1 to 1. The payout on your bet will be determined by the quality of your hand (see Payouts below for more details). If the Dealer beats your hand, you lose both your Ante and your bet. In the event that you and the Dealer have the same hand, the next highest card (kicker) determines the winner.
The game starts with each player placing an ante bet, prior to the dealer announcing "No more bets".
Each player has to decide whether to call or to fold, depending on the fact if the player thinks his or her hand will beat the dealer's hand. If the player folds, he or she will lose the ante bet. If the player calls, he or she has to place an additional wager of twice the ante bet.
-The Player folds.
-The Dealer qualifies and has a higher 5-card poker hand.
The Progressive Jackpot is a "side bet" that allows a Player to share in a Jackpot regardless if the Dealer "qualifies" or not.

ANTE BET
To begin, player must place an ante bet prior to the dealer announcing "no more bets." Each player receives five cards face down. The dealer gets four cards face down and one card face up.
BET TO CALL DEALER
If a player thinks his hand will beat the dealer's hand and wishes to continue playing, the player must place an additional wager of exactly twice the ante bet.
DEALER'S HAND
The dealer must have Ace/King or better to continue to play. If he does not qualify, the player's ante wager is paid even money (1 to 1) and the bet wager is a push (no action is taken on the bet wager). If the dealer does have an Ace/King or better, or the player's hand is higher in rank than the dealer's hand, then the player collects on his ante and bet wagers. If the dealer's hand and the player's hand tie (all five cards are identical in rank), the ante and bet wagers are both pushes and no action is taken.
PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT BET
In order to participate in the progressive payouts, a player must wager an additional $1 at the time of the ante bet. An acceptor device, which will accept this bet, is provided for each player.
PROGRESSIVE PAYOUT BET
Regardless of the dealer's hand, players who win the progressive payout must show the casino supervisor their hand to receive the applicable progressive payout. Certain winning progressive payout hands shall be paid in accordance with the amount on the meter when it is the player's turn to be paid.
